Marlinda’s MOD Skincare celebrated 30 years in Burlingame with a ribbon cutting and mixer Thursday, Oct. 15, at 1199 Howard Ave., Suite 101.

Mayor Michael Brownrigg presented founder Marlinda Wilson with a Chamber of Commerce award recognizing the milestone, according to an email from Barbara Reichert accompanying photos of the event.

The Burlingame/SFO Chamber of Commerce organized the celebration, which brought clients and community supporters together at the spa.

Brownrigg also joined Wilson, her daughter Mia and her granddaughter for the ribbon cutting, celebrating three generations of women working at the business, Reichert said.

Chamber President and CEO Susan Baker, Vice Mayor Andrea Pappajohn and Chamber board Chair Ross Bruce also attended, according to Reichert.

The milestone comes as Marlinda’s searches for a new Burlingame location, Reichert said.
