I-280 crash victim went undiscovered for 5 hours, CHP says

The San Mateo County Coroner's Office identified Maya Raphaella Shustik, 28, of Portola Valley as the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on southbound I-280 near Hillsborough early Sunday, Sept. 20. The wreck went undiscovered for more than five hours despite an initial emergency response.

Woman dies in I-280 crash near Hillsborough

A 28-year-old woman died early Sunday after her vehicle struck a boulder in the center median of southbound Interstate 280 near the Black Mountain Road/Hayne Road exit in unincorporated Hillsborough, according to the California Highway Patrol.
