Eight Burlingame artists will see their designs on “I Voted” stickers distributed to voters for the Nov. 3 election.
The city selected six youth artists and two adult winners from more than 100 submissions in its fall 2026 sticker design contest, according to its Instagram announcement. One adult winner is a Burlingame Library staff member.
The city’s fall contest gallery displays the eight winning designs alongside the other entries.
San Mateo County Supervisor Jackie Speier said she met the winners at a Burlingame City Council meeting. In her October newsletter, Speier wrote that she “was very impressed with the students’ and teachers’ artistic talents.”
The newsletter includes a photograph of Speier with Burlingame council members and a 9-year-old student winner.
The contest is a collaboration among Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Millbrae and Foster City, according to Burlingame’s contest announcement. The announcement says winners receive a custom sweatshirt and recognition from their City Council.
The city’s Instagram announcement says residents can pick up stickers before Election Day at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall. Stickers will also be available when voters cast their ballots on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
