Franklin Elementary’s annual Walk-A-Thon returns Friday, Oct. 16, with an $80,000 fundraising goal to support classroom supplies, field trips and enrichment programs at the Burlingame school.
The event will take place at Franklin Elementary School, 2385 Trousdale Drive. The PTA’s fundraising page recommends raising $305 per student, while emphasizing that donations of any size count.
Proceeds also support assemblies, teacher and staff appreciation and community events throughout the school year, according to the PTA. Contributions can be made online through PledgeStar.
