Burlingame High's JV football team rolled over Hillsdale 42-0 on Thursday, Sept. 17, piling up all of its points before halftime in a home shutout.

Quarterback Lucas Sandell went 3-for-3 passing for 88 yards and two touchdowns, according to Burlingame High School Athletics on X.

Jayden Hurrell ran through the Hillsdale defense, carrying four times for 72 yards and two scores. Eli Joachin found the end zone twice, on an 18-yard rush and a 29-yard reception.

The Panthers' defense held Hillsdale scoreless. Matthew Daudel led the unit with five tackles.

Burlingame had already built its 42-0 lead by halftime, according to a halftime update from the athletics account. No points were scored in the second half.

The JV rout came on the same night the Burlingame varsity squad, 3-0 entering the week, hosted fellow unbeaten Hillsdale in a Peninsula Athletic League matchup between undefeated teams, according to Patch. All four Bay Area News Group predictors had picked Burlingame to win that contest.

No future JV game date has been posted on the Burlingame High athletics calendar.
