Burlingame Town Square will host its first Music Trivia night Saturday, Oct. 10, with free admission, food from three local restaurants and prizes from the San Francisco Giants.
The event, announced by the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce on X, runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the downtown square between Park Road and Lorton Avenue. Taddy's Tunes will host the trivia, which covers Rock, Soul and R&B from the mid-1960s through the 1990s.
Three Burlingame restaurants are providing food bites for the evening. Sapore Italiano, the Italian restaurant at 1447 Burlingame Ave., is joined by Gigi's Cafe at 1080 Howard Ave. and Copenhagen Bakery & Café at 1216 Burlingame Ave. Copenhagen has served the Bay Area since 1977.
The Giants are supplying prizes for trivia winners, though the Chamber's announcement did not specify what those prizes include.
Town Square opened in April after the city completed the project between Park Road and Lorton Avenue. The space was designed with a small center stage for entertainment and community events.
Admission is free.
The Chamber's announcement did not say whether the trivia night will become a recurring event.
